What this policy covers

See Your Future has a public website and a native iPhone app. They are separate experiences, so the way each one handles information is described separately below.

The iPhone app

Templates can be used without an account. Template scripts and artwork are bundled with the app. When you first play a template, the iPhone synthesizes its narration locally with an ordinary system voice and caches it privately for offline playback. Saved templates, completed sessions, focus notes, and reflections stay in local app storage on your device.

Personalization is optional and for adults only. Before each personalized request, the app asks the person to self-attest that they are at least 18 years old and the age of majority where they live. This is not an identity or age-verification process. Templates remain available without personalization. Before the app sends text, it shows a clear disclosure that names OpenAI and asks for affirmative consent. It sends the goals, life, vision, and story fields you choose to include only after you give that consent and tap Create. The request goes to our server, where OpenAI creates the requested script and narration. Focus notes, reflections, listening history, and saved favorites are not sent for personalization.

The app does not create a cloud library for your saved experiences. A fixed-template narration cache stays in the app's private storage until you remove the app. A generated narration is stored temporarily on your device while that experience is open. The app requests its deletion when you leave; if that cleanup is interrupted, a temporary copy can remain in the app's cache until the app or iOS clears temporary storage. It is never added to a saved library. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, tracking, purchases, or a web view.

The website

The website's ready-made guided experiences are spoken by the visitor's browser or device when that feature is available. Voice availability and processing are determined by that browser or device; use the visible transcript if narration is unavailable. The optional personalized feature is for adults only. Before each personalized request, the visitor self-attests that they are at least 18 years old and the age of majority where they live; this is not an identity or age-verification process. If you use that feature, the details you enter are sent only after you choose to create a personalized visualization. OpenAI creates the requested script and narration through our server.

We do not provide an account system or a cloud library. After a successful website personalization, the browser stores up to five recent visualizations—including the inputs, generated script, narration audio, voice choices, and reflections—in that browser's IndexedDB storage. They are not synced to an account. This local copy is separate from OpenAI processing described below. Clearing the site's browser storage removes that local copy.

Server and provider retention

Our server uses OpenAI only in this first release. Google AI Studio code is retained for a future release but is not enabled. OpenAI script requests set store: false to avoid creating retrievable provider application state. This setting does not override OpenAI's other retention, safety, or abuse-monitoring practices.

OpenAI traffic sharing is enabled for this service. The optional personalized text you send to OpenAI, and its generated script, may be used by OpenAI to improve its models under that program. Consent is requested separately for every personalized request. You can stop future sharing by leaving the consent box unchecked; templates remain available. OpenAI's own terms, privacy policies, and applicable legal obligations can also govern this processing. Do not enter sensitive personal information.

Support and local-data removal

Because See Your Future has no account or cloud library, clear this site's browser storage to remove its local website library, or remove the iPhone app to remove its local app data. For support or a privacy question, email seeyourfuture8@gmail.com.

Abuse prevention

When you submit a personalization request, our server uses the requesting IP address only to create a pseudonymous HMAC-derived per-IP rate-limit key, not the raw IP address. Cloudflare D1 uses that key only for a one-hour rate window. It also uses a one-way narration-grant pseudonym to enforce a 15-minute grant validity period and record whether the grant was consumed, plus a non-personal global daily provider-call counter. Expired guard rows are deleted when a later personalization request runs, so they can remain until that cleanup. The service does not retain raw personalized input, generated script, or audio in this database. These safeguards are not used to create a profile or personalize the app.
